i’ve been waiting for spring since november. reading this made me wonder if i’ve ever actually been in winter at all…or just passing through it on my way somewhere else. 🤍 love your wiring
Absolutely beautiful. I’m going through a massive season of confusion and change right now. Im trying to be more curious. I began journaling and reading more things like this and less Reddit bullshit- but these changes have led me to some soul searching that’s been quite painful. Your words feel a bit like a balm on my soul. I will have to go back and read again. Several things you said will certainly make it into my journal and hopefully my mind as well.
I’m also a spring lover. I’m trying to truly enjoy winter this year and so far I’ve done well. Wearing beautiful clothing- vintage furs primarily- that has made winter more of a joy. As I got older and had kids I stopped romanticizing things. Beginning that again has also helped. We should be excited to drink a hot thing and sit down with our own company.
first, dont say you are trying not to write more about "walking home. I love those writings on walk home, subway rides. It has such a scope for imagination when I read it. I love reading about your home , porch, cicadas, beach. I feel like every author, song writer has a repeating theme and for me , these are your signatures.
second, I have been following you for a quite long now. ( i am the fb girl). I, and i think most of your subscriber follow you for your content, thoughts, ideas, emotions,느낌이 as a friend, as a listener. I don't see myself as someone who you need to meet the deadline :) .
third, this was such a beautiful read as always. I am reading this on a snowy day in Ottawa.
