I am so interested in that story you wrote about death. I used to write a lot about ideas of afterlife in an attempt to comfort myself, but I haven’t done that in a very long time. The conclusion of your story made me think of the book thief, where death is an empathetic narrator who’s sort of more haunted by humanity than visa versa. I found that comforting as well.
